Fix T1Pd Hitbox

Shooting walls like a boss with your commander is so annoying.

T1 pds are weak enough as they are. 250 mass hard countered by 36mass. Pds are good against commanders. Aurora also do the same thing. A T1 pd surrounded in walls will SLAUGHTER Auroras.

The commander shoots through the PD.....its not a nerf to PD. Its a bug.

It's not just a bug, it's a bug that I have no idea how to fix!

Also, it's kind of necessary to make PD not utterly useless.

It's not just a bug, it's a bug that I have no idea how to fix!

Also, it's kind of necessary to make PD not utterly useless.

Yeah, I like this part of the game.

I agree that it's a little weird since SupCom is a game based in 'realistic' physics so we expect our units to do things logically (like aim for the part of the enemy they can see instead of shooting at their feet hidden behind a pile of rocks). Still though, PD+8 walls is my favorite template. I'd hate to lose it. :)

I would prefer that everything be fixed together. If you hit the PD, you hit the PD. If you build walls around it, then the walls correctly intercept your shots. (make walls higher if necessary.)

ooo, higher walls? That reminds me of TA. :D

But ofc, if you make the walls high enough to protect the whole PD then the PD will probably have its shots blocked by the walls. This could be especially problematic on slopes where the PD needs to angle downhill a bit.
