I also broke the mission on my third attempt by trying to play with one player in the second starting position (no player in the first position)

I broke the mission on my second attempt (single player).

I'm not sure if it was the fact that I loaded engineers into my T2 transport and thus the ACU wasn't loaded during hte cutscene (not enough room) or if when the transport dropped off the engineers, it didn't take enough damage from the Cybra ASF (the T2 transport did not die)

Currently it's too easy if you play as 2 players.
