Very active with multiple uploads a week. Good mix of casts with focus leaning towards entertainment rather than deep strategic analysis. Runs a popular 'Insanity of Saturday' with a cast of a map followed by a live playthrough with input from the FAF community. Other uploads not FAF but often enjoyable to SC players with regular RTS reviews in the never ending quest to find a 'better Supreme Commander'. (Also well labelled, I'm serious having a clear naming convention for your casts doubles your view count).

In August 2011 this phpBB forum was launched (oldest post here). Back then phpBB was one of the best bulletin boards you could get for free. Now, 9 years later, the world is a different one, but somehow our forum is still frozen in time. After a lot of issues with spam, security vulnerabilities and most recently severe outages for no ovious reason, the time has come to let go of it.

A few generation of bulletin boards has passed already and we move to NodeBB now (link here).

Goodbye grandfather of FAF. We'll miss you.
And as the administrator I'd like to add: Please burn in hell, where you came from, you shitty piece of software.

We will probably archive this forum, but we don't know how yet. If you have any ideas and also skills and time to help on that please contact me.

The number of players from the greater Asia Pacific gradually starting to trickle in is very encouraging. An oceanic ICE adaptor TURN server will be greatly appreciated by a large number of players

Since I joined the discord FAF has been much more enjoyable for me. I used to spend 2 hours getting a game, getting kicked from lobbies. Come join us where games happen fast - where things aren't taken too seriously. Sometimes we fill mulitple 16 player games.

Hello FAF community. I am Millenwise, owner of the Aus/NZ FAF Discord server, and I'm here to give a plug to our community. We started as a fairly small group and grew slowly. But the server has now passed 500 members, and I recently re-did the server to be more presentable and to match our growing base, and so here we are:

We have games up almost every night and it's not uncommon to see 2 or 3 games running simultaneously, especially on the weekends. The server is also host to the [ANZ] clan. I like to promote an open, fair and casual experience and have run a number of tournaments in the past to try and foster a friendly and casually-competitive atmosphere (if combining opposing descriptors is a thing here). Right now, we're at the back-end of a 1v1 tournament with three brackets to cater for differing skill levels, but I recently hosted a "COVID-19 v HUMANITY" themed weekend event for some fun team games (humanity won, fortunately).

So, if you're looking for some fellow countrymen to play with/against, come and say hello.

We also have a few members from outside our geographically isolated region, but due to that isolation connections aren't always great (and is the main reason for this server's existence). However, anyone is welcome to come and try their luck and we do have a few regulars from around the world.

Koppa, any way you could organize this list with a priority for new players? I think a lot of people who need this reference are newer to the community and would benefit from watching videos by fellahs like Heaven, speed2, Jagged, etc over Gyle first.

Salut, je suis français et du coup je cherche un clan en français, je ne suis pas seul on est deux joueurs

On a déjà joué quelques parties ensemble, on comprend le jeux on sais comment jouer mais on a pas les techniques des gros joueurs Multi, ainsi on cherche un clan pour apprendre à jouer mieux, et aussi pour le fun de jouer des parties à plusieurs entre français.

Slightly off topic but someone is finally doing good Total Annihilation casts. It's FFA_Postal and he used be a very creative and competitive player in the mid to late aughts. Might be of interest to some of the people on this forum. He's running through a lot of classic matches and the selection is very interesting already.
