just wanted to give my 2 cents on this one (keep in mind, Im rusty so it might be pure garbage)
the main issue as of now that I find with the t4 bot is:
it cant deal as easily with single units
it simply overkills, it works wonders against t4s (when they dont micro around the deathballs, which is kinda bs) but single units are tougher to deal with
so why not do this:
decrease the damage per weapon
increase the rate of fire on each (resulting in a small dps increase)
slightly increase the velocity on projectiles (making it harder to dodge certain attacks)
somewhat increase its AA capabilities: low ROF, lower damage sams instead of flak? kinda like the sACU from cybran has an AA gun on its back or the sera subhunter, it shouldnt be too strong really, just better at defending against faster air units rather than masses (make gunships great again?)
just makes it a bit better in softening up targets, harder to micro around and doesnt decrease its effectiveness against t3 as a support T4
on another note, just a side note really:
the t4 bomber turning radius seems a little too tight
it reloads the bomb entirely slightly after the dropping point on one of the passes (even on static emplacements), meaning that you still gotta micro 1 turn to be slightly wider in order to drop the bomb efficiently, which feels kinda odd, dunno if this was on purpose or not thoughStatistics: Posted by RoQe — 22 Sep 2016, 12:06
