i'm a player that love to play many hours with my ACU on the front, i like to play like an ACU FIGTHER, when they invented HQ factories, was more dificult to do that, but i loved that change!!
But i still play with ACU on the front, to get more mass, map control, and break enemy firebases with overcharges.

taking huge risks, but happy with it, and game allow to counter it with many ways too.
Dozen times i was killed doing it.
It's the reason that not are any logical argument to nerfs ACUS, it's completly possible to counter them.

Hey guys, I'm new here on the FAF forums and I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I'm getting a weird graphical glitch in my games. I'm not sure what's causing it and I don't know how to fix it. Can any of you help me?

Looks like an ACU turned into some paperwork there. Literally. Odd glitch. Indeed.

didn't read your whole reply.... No matter what your feelings are.... just find your own way

............i don't even........

But thanks for the life lesson. I will be sure to utilise it as I ridicule employees, customers and clients that aren't privy to certain conversations.

You honestly can't see how this is potentially divisive, off putting to less active members and just generally totally unnecessary? I don't give AF if you have a secret group. But it's either secret or it's not. It can't be both! I find it absurd this has gone so far. I'm done.

Remember, people are here because they enjoy FAF not because they are obliged to be, so spare the speech Rocky.

No matter what your feelings are, people are going to choose who they talk to and why. Most of the productive conversations I've had has been thru team speak or private messages, not the public forum. There's no point in feeling bad or good that there are other means. If you feel bad or that we are being bad, just find your own way.

In case you have not realized, yes, there are "SECRET SPOOKY CONVERSATIONS OF SECRET" that don't get shared with everyone including myself. Does it bother me? No! We all have the same end goal of making this a successful community.

Life lesson: you are going to find this to be the case no matter what you do; Governments, clubs, charities, etc, etc all do this and you are naive if you don't think this is how people work.

The world is a tough place. Get over it.

To be honest I don't really know what you are talking about. You are a really inflammatory person. Clearly you know less than f-all then Zock does about the game. Why you could would come out with a paragraph like that is beyond me.

Care to elaborate on why I don't know "f-all" or are you going to continue your disdain for me with little reason other than you don't like that I oppose your mods and the way WWPC was run?

Cool. Some details. Not the point. Use it and have it's members be a bit more responsible. Or don't use it and have its members be a bit more responsible.

Though it still doesn't serve the purpose of keeping the community informed about what is going into the patch. The problem is that you haven't brought the community with you, and the lack of communication here is problematic.

It may be reasonable to say that a person with less game knowledge is less able to participate in proper balance discussion at a technical level. But they to deserve to have their voices heard in so far as the changes might effect their gaming experience. It may very well be that, "the customer doesn't know what they want", but it is also true to say that, "the customer is always right".

Having balance discussions in a open debate is useful simply because it keeps the balance team informed on the general playing experience, and tells them what the average player is expecting. It also provides some basic opportunities for the general community to interact with the balance team, and for the balance team to sell their ideas to the community. So this whole approach of, "I am pro and I know what you want" is kinda annoying. Participating in balance testing, and not seeing any adaptation of the patch in response to time invested is also annoying.

I'm sure it is. And i'm sure they will. But you completely miss the point. Having private chats between a few high rated players, cool, whatever. I have serious doubts a clandestine official balance forum is in the best interest of the community. One which I suspect is filled with some players who hardly play anymore and worse, players that quite frankly have spouted opinions that are as laughable as any on the public forum. But this is conjecture, how can I know? It is a secret. I certainly wouldn't aspire to be part of such a group. As far as I'm concerned a thriving and welcoming community encourages and has many opinions. A shriveling and dying community is cliquey and insular.

But none of that really even bothers me. What bothers me most about this is that there isn't even an effort to keep it secret that there is a secret. Totally conceited behaviour from some senior members of the community in an apparent attempt to flaunt their little e-peens. Completely unacceptable. I'd be extremely disappointed if visionik endorsed this sort of behaviour from people that are supposed to represent some responsibility.
