If they didnt do that before, why they will do that now? it takes same space than T2 tank, so drop T2 tank, it will destroy t2 mex and still fucking around. Give more HP to beetles to hang on normal damage and we will start seeing interesting things (of course any HP buff has to go with cost increase but hey, that is fair).

1)get beetles and transports
2)send them when enemy air players are busy or inties are too away
3)drop them
4)get to enemy ACU
5)you've just got a kill


in early stages i dont usually put AA in my base, we have air players to defend everybody from jesters. my eco or i will be screwed up in seconds.

That depends heavily on the explosives.
Nitroglycerine goes boom if you sneeze too close to it.
Dynamite already requires multiple detonators if you want to use a bundle (yes, it is stable enough that it may not sympathetically detonate if the central stick explode).
ANFO needs a booster charge before it can go boom.
Acetone Peroxide detonates if you fart in the same room.
Azidoazide Azides (ie: C2N14) can explode because... Well, for no reason at all. It's THAT instable.
