T3 is getting a rebalance and the Ythota is being worked on, which is a good start. I would like to point out that Seraphim air fell off compared to the other factions' with the RAS nerf and the ghetto buff.

Sera tanks are usually bad and should stay that way for faction diversity, but maybe the Ythotha can be as good a T4 as the Illshavoh is T2. Another theme is, that Sera bombs (arty and bombers) are a really good mix of AoE, accuracy and damage. Maybe we can have a bit more AoE on T3 arty and strats to compensate for bad T3 tanks?

The Janus got a buff, maybe Nothas can have an aa buff to make the transition from t1 air easier?

I'm a dedicated Sera player so ofc I'm biased :)

[edit] some small clarifications

sniper can go on water

Oooh, that's cool!

About the sniper though: Is there a particular reason that its default setting is to the low-range, high rof mode? I find that to be the less useful of its modes, and for some reason, very often when I try to toggle it keeps switching back. Is that just me?

++ Then you have brkoen t3 sera armies :D

People need to use the t3 shields effectively. Maybe Buff Shield speed, otherwise it gets kited to easy?

I don't think Sera as a whole are too bad. Their T3 is weak on any maps that are bas for snipers but I have so much success with T2 that almost becomes irrelevant. They're good enough to have taken me 250 points up the ladder in the last month and a half...

Later as sera is usually fun and interesting, but in March making you do everything you can till t3 and then die with some honor.

Have the quantum storm be given a chaotic, yet forward-moving, move order when it's spawned. This will ensure it becomes a fabulous base-breaker, but also means you need to be careful with retreating it.

This is an idea I've had for a long time also, it's nice to see someone else bringing it up.

I don't think that other Ythothas should be immune to the energy storm. But if the energy storm kept moving (more or less) in the direction and speed that the Ythotha was traveling when destroyed that would be an interesting way to make up for the way that you can't effectively use multiples of them the same way you can other T4s.

add a time booster field to the possible upgrades. place it in the same field where the resto field is placed.

the time field affects the reload time and the turn rate.
this way the units are better suited against t3 units. the price is placed in an area that its investment fits also right into the switch from t2 to t3.
sacu and acu can possess it...
also no unit in itself has to be tweaked. the field would be the clou.

side note:
Spoiler: show
as a different problem there is the regen field problem.. i am looking forward seeing this fixed!

sniper can't be dodge (on the contrary mongoose can be easily dodge) and the range difference is way bigger between sniper/brick than mongoose/pillar for exemple.

because you make lot of change when there is an easy fix : allow toggle off.

+ as i said this allow some more micro. so it's more interesting than having a sniper bot that is faster than T3.5 bot, and out range them, and automaticaly stop to shoot so that it miss rarely = op shit as f***.

*looks at mongoose
Clearly...
