You can host an Adaptive map, even though these maps are often 16 player maps. You can then close all but 4 slots on these maps. However, you can also use a particular setting when you close these slots called “Close slots - spawn mex” that allows you to give the team with the worst player an economic advantage.

You may need to disable a setting that automatically mirrors resources on the map, but I believe it is disabled by default in the options.

Actually all 4 of us are n00bs but 1 of us is a real n00b! Whoever partners with him loses the 2v2.

What are the options for helping him out? We have turned of some units for us and left them on for him but what he really need is a resource boost. Is it possible to set up a map with mass extractors and power etc in place? Any suggestions appreciated
