while what speed said is correct,
if you are interested in modding you can make a really simple mod to change the models of the factories back to the originals.

to do this just create an empty mod and copy paste the original unit models in. you will need to do this for a total of 24 factories - 4factions*2techs*air/land/navy.

Disabling support factories is the only option you have here, can't really chanage the look of the factories. T3 mobile AA should be also in the restriction list?

I'm new to FAF, so I apologize if this has been answered (I promise I searched!)

I love the balance changes and updates that FAF has brought - the work that this community has done is truly phenomenal. I've been mostly playing single player against Sorian AI, I'm not that competitive these days.

I was wondering if there was a way to disable the added units and structures (such as the engy mod and t3 AA). No disrespect for the folks who created these mods, the work they've done is fantastic - I just prefer to play the game as close to it's original form as possible. But after trying FAF I almost can't live without the balance updates and bugfixes. I know I can disable support factories, which effectively disables the engy mod, but the factories still use the HQ models, which is a little jarring to me.

Just wondering if I can disable the added models but keep the balance changes and updates. Thanks again to all of you and to this awesome community, I'm happy to see that FA is still alive and well!
