Would it be possible to implement a "back" button into the forum navigation?

Anytime I click on a link which takes me to the fafwiki I am trapped there and have to shut down/restart faf in order to reset the "whats new" tab back to the forums.

Similar issue when I use the search function. Example: I search the forums for "global rating" and get 22 results. I click on one of those, read it, and then want to go back to my search results to check out the others. However I can't seem to find a way back. I have to do a new search. Pretty frustrating and tedious.

I am fairly old (I played pong when it was cutting edge gaming ) so I admit I could be missing something extremely obvious.
