Not sure; I'm not a perfect, grand example of a player. I'm more focused on getting a good "t2 fact rush" detailed out rather the unit/micro choice. It's something I don't do often unless it's against a less-experienced player where I can make a mistake and still pull a victory out of no where.

For written text to be useful you should take on examples of how to properly rush t2 land factories on a map like theta passage.

My general response to Aeon on theta passage is to either get jesters (EXTREMELY USEFUL ON THIS MAP) or rush t2 land.

Meta for t2 land rush on theta:

1) 1st land fact, grab 3 mexes with comm
2) send first engie to hydro, build with comm assist, build 2 pgens, send comm to middle mass
3) Build a second land fact to get about 10-15 mantis on the field to hold off early attacks while waiting for t2 land to finish
4) use other engies/comm to expand, grab free mass, etc; keep two-three engies at home assisting the t2 land fact ugrade
5) once t2 land fact is done IMMEDIATELY stop the other t1 land facts until about 3-4 rhinos (with scouts to use their range) are on the field, then restart them to build engies and medusa
6) DO NOT DIRECTLY ENGAGE AEON ACU. A decent Aeon player will use OC with packs of aurora to push hard. You want to take out point mexes and cripple the eco to halt aeon production rather take out an army
7) It could go anywhere from here... you will need to play a lot to gain experience and react such as getting vipers to counter a t2 pd creep.... The possibilities are quite numerous

Even with precise instructions it's still infinitely useful to put it to practice rather reading it...

Heck about a couple months ago I figured you just need the first RAS on sera or aeon ACU to get a strat out faster than previously done. It gets built slower, but overall the time to get a t3 bomber was quicker. You don't need the absolute dead-nuts eco balance to get results ; )

With UEF, to prevent an attack (since you cannot hold a position vs obsidians with rangebots) you use a gun upgraded acu , which can only be in one place, but with cybran, you can have gun and many medusa, + stealth.

I think the split attack with t1 bombers is very effective against players of my rating(1200) including myself playing mostly aeon.You just need to send 4 bombers and they will almost always kill a group of 8 -12 Tanks. Against Auroras it's even more devastating. Even in the early t2 stage it's an option.

Oh man. The fact that I forgot to add "make bombers" to the Cybran 1v1 guide in the part for dealing with Aeon T1 is pretty shameful... I'm going to finish this guide off now, then maybe start expanding on the Aeon one.
