ASFs already have a nice armor against the czar beam so you need multiple czars to beat asf (and it's still mass inefficient as hell)
if you get your air force obliterated by a czar on ground fire then that's your own fault

to counter it you should just not click at czar, and instead need to fly around... at least i think so

What did you expect from 2k hp ASF flying into 3.333k DPS beam?

In past this was much stronger. At some point balance team added some damage multiplier so CZAR wouldn't eat ASFs from a first pass through beam (plus new veterancy system doesn't let CZAR vet so much from 350 mass ASFs). So this mechanic was nerfed to the point where you need to stack ~3 CZARs into same spot. That is 135k mass. You can get 385 for that counter them mass effectively...

...or you can watch a 6 year old tutorial and obliterate CZARS with a little microing object

Played phantom today (ID 8623444), opponent had 3 czars. He nested them to one and it is really must be a cheat - it kills any asf by one pass. So you click asfs to attack Czar and then loose everything no matter how many u have. You cant counter it by asfs at all (actually you can counter it by 100500 asfs but it is not something that can be colled as "game balace"). When Czars come close to SAMS in my base its too late because it is actually dies ON my base so it doesnt matter if I have air superiority - if I try to kill them they will kill all my air. So they come to my base withou any trouble. It needs to be fixed!
Make ASFs invincible to Czar's beam.
