Issue solved ..

I don't want to replace the SupremCommander.exe file... but after i get the game crashed, i put all bin folder content then all wors fine :)

I do not have steam version, but i've applied the needed patche (i mean the "supcom_patch_1.0.3189_to_1.1.3280.exe")

1. I've patched to 1.1.3280
2. I set compatibility to Win XP SP3

and yes launch as admin..

Here is the log file i found, at line 8 there is a warning : "ActionManager::restoreDefaults missing prefsMapFile table."

The editor work fine until i drag into the map a "Blank Marker" (or any other marker)
It also bugs when i zoom in on existing maps.. i mean when for example i load a map like "Ambush pass"

Any idea ?

did you try to launch as administrator or compatability mode set to windows XP SP3?

Also log might store some informations why is it crashing... It is located in C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\SupremeCommander file name is SCEditor.sclog so please post

This is my first post on the forum

I spent a whole week trying to run SC Map Editor, now it works but i can't do anything with, here the bugs i got :

1. when start, i've this warning message "ActionManager::restoreDefaults missing prefsMapFile table."
2. when i open any existing map, then i zoom in the window became freezed
3. i created a new map, when i put a blank marker, the window freez again, and can not save... i don't even see any marker..

Please help
