FAF is not using the nvidea card instead it uses the intern intel graphics (not sure thats because its a Laptop wich likes to save energy everywhere)

so just go in your nevidea settings and force it

Now my glaxy map runs so supper fast and smooth
also no more lag when typing

Edit:
I have no clue what decides what GPU get used
so well maybe its some variable or does Nvidea has to remeber it or whatever maybe Zep could change that in the next lobbby version.

If I go to the settings again - enable then disable planet rotation - they stop rotating.

UPDATE: it's the scrolling that makes the planets rotate.

Hardware (dell XPS L701X):
Intel i5 [email protected]
8GB ram,
GeForce GT 435M

I realize that this is not a top gaming machine, but if it's enough to run SCFA it should be enough to run the lobby as well.
