Defenses are for defenses. They will stay as it is, because it works exactly as intended, having the purpose I wanted them to have. Balance costs are another topic that I won't discuss until all features are done.

Building reinforcements is a featured already implemented in FA mod you are using now but not yet in the lobby.
You will be able to build them where you want, but they won't stay on the map (maybe I will change my mind on that, but very unlikely).

Also, why asking for stuff is nice, I'm not planning to add anything more than what I've planned. I'm already working on all free time on this and this has to stop at some point.

what I mean is to place Defenses on places that are'nt your main base, like a Firebase...

But it's very different than planetary defense. Planetary defense stays there as long as they are not destroyed.

And more importantly : They are there to .. defend. No attack.

This way PDs can be built for free in designed spots, but prevented from being built to far in, as the ACU would have to be present to put the PD 'beacon'.

They exists so your recall zone is safe. T1 PD has a role for that, T2 even more.
Also T1 AA, and you don't have to worry about bomber rushes.

As T1 are dirt cheap, I think they still have a role.

If they could be placed wherever I would be fine with the unreclaimable pd but since you can't I think it's a fair use of them...
