So basically, anybody can log-off now and all of their attacks are guaranteed to succeed?

This isn't my experience. I often lose attacks whilst re-logging.

Me vs Anaryl: I'm attacking 5 uef locations, anaryl is attacking 2 seraphim locations. I notice he is offline so I defend his attacks, expecting an autowin. Instead, FA launches, but fails to connect because Anaryl is offline. When I get back to GW, the defense didn't take, and he's still attacking both times. I try to defend again, I get the error "you can't defend while you are in battle!". I try to defend the otehr attack and get the same error.

So basically, anybody can log-off now and all of their attacks are guaranteed to succeed?
