normal units > units with status > engies

you have army with all 3 type? you select only normal units
you have army with units with status and engies? you select only units with status?

this would be best solution, becouse you can choice what unit won't be selected, all so you can give your comm bodyguards and you won't send them away accidentally meanwhile you controling army with comm

hm?

How about a modifier? Rebindable, but defaults to say, Alt-drag-select is 'Priority select' and filters out artillery, nuke subs, MMLs, shield disrupters etc.

sound good, but I think there should be option to choise units not to select, someone could want different then default

but also you may not want to select t3 artyes that are already stationary and deployed

I have never had trouble with them... but i often have to move whole army and then i select arty and hit stop, deselecting is way to complex action for me xD

I think that would be too complex

I did, few arties died becouse I forgot deselect them, move army is another way :)

what I mean is selecting, you have mix units and engis, you drag with mouse and select only units and this I like to have for t3m artillery

it is annoying deselecting artis everytime and you know most of them cant move and fire

all so usefull for strat sub
