Pro-tip: chance to hit with that weapon is inversely proportional to the distance to the target. Move your cruisers closer and watch their dps increase.

Also if it hits everything that would give the cruiser 700+ dps, that's a lot.

It is used to great (and extremely annoying) effect by several players in 1v1 and it makes me cry when it is used. The range is king.

I've never actually seen it used and I don't know why. The ground cannon mode kicks out an astonishingly high DPS for a Crusier.

Will hit shields, that is the only useful thing I've seen it do.

So this seems like it would be a great ability for Cybran players to utilize however when I tested it it couldn't hit hardly anything, including buildings. In fact it couldn't hit a GC that was standing still.
