Not everybody uses steam (I dont for example) and if it gets implemented we might also get a switch to turn it off if it bothers someone

For Notification, maybe you must turn it on for every friend

#1 Authenticate your account on mumble allows to make chatrooms which automatticly delete when you abondon them.

#2 Press shift+enter?

#3 For the work that probably needs to go into that small feature...

I also like the chat idea. i tried to switch the key bindings of "chat to all" and "chat to allies" but couldnt find them in the F1 menu. Are they even there?

since i know shift alt the chat thing isnt a problem for me anymore ^^.
i think someone is coding the lobby presets already (dont know who)

Well, the perfect suggestion would then be to give a choice where it defaults to. I'd like the default team chat. In fact I'd really like #1 and #2.

I like having the in-game chat default to all. I usually spend more time chatting with my opponents than my allies. (Because skype.)

1. Separate chatrooms in mumble, not language specified, just ~10 rooms for freinds to talk in between games.

2. In-game chat should default to "Team" not "All".

3. "Reconnect" button in lobby so when host changes map to something you have to download or you dont have connection to someone you could just click that and solve the issue instead of having to rejoin manually.

4. Presets of settings for game, ie. one for phantom games, one for ranked, one for unkranked, one for testing... players could make any number of them and then choose the fitting one with one click instead of going trough options every time.

5. Notification when a freind comes online would be cool

6. If we could get #4 and #5 as a screen while "In Transit"
