I feel that if someone has to be muted, it's a global issue. If it's a personal one, the quacking is there.

My though on this is that with quacking instead of not seing anything, you are not wondering why people are talking alone :)

Maybe I will include a real ignore command as a "hidden" IRC-like command (/ignore) in the future, and it will be temporary (reset everytime you log in).

I am aware that the client we use is not /exactly/ IRC, but if we can have an IRC bot, I don't see why I can't /ignore people.

Please, Zep, please fucking tell me that "we don't need it". I'm leaving a suggestion in your suggestions forum, so there you go, if anyone knows how to add that functionality, I'm just putting it out there. I think it'd improve FAF. *drops mic*

It's "Foe", not "ban". It's not designed to keep someone away from you. IRC moderators are there for that.

and could really use some changing.

Nope. It's just you thinking the function is for something while it's not :)

When I want to mute someone, I want them to go away. Why is it that muting someone in FAF causes them to appear as a big bright red name on the top of my list? I feel like this was not really thought through, and could really use some changing. Why not put them at the bottom of the list instead of under the Friend section?
