turns out it actually DOES work, just that the sounds are not in the Sync.Sounds but Sync.Voice table

obs_nukelaunched.lua
put this into C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Mods\reminder\resources\notifications\observer and it should work for you

i just tried going through all sounds that are in the UserSync table (the sim tells the UI what to play), but apparently it doesn't contain anything, ever (no nuke launches, commander under attack, ...), it might just be for campaign stuff or so

i've attached the test file if you want to take a look, but it doesn't do anything since there are no sounds in the table

As someone who never plays with sounds, I would love to have a feature like this. I know washy's notification mod can give you a notification for almost everything, so I would like to know if this is also possible/already done. If its not too hard I can even do it myself with some instructions.
