faf is $15

I may or may not have bough 4 FAF keys on steam sale to give away to friends for 1.90€ each...
stopping me to buy more was only the slow shop at the time and the inability to buy more than one at one time.

well now you do! smurfing is hard in faf and so the vast majority of players arent smurfs! if you lose to someone it might be that they are just good at the game!

now that this has been cleared up i wish everyone a lovely day in their smurf-free games!

They could be playing FA in steam alot till found FaF.

Many people excel and different areas in the games and in different types of maps, they can also get lucky sometimes so don't worry too much about losing, just want the replay and see how you could have improved that game, it's more important to learn than to care about points, ultimately they done mean much, heaps of good players screw up their rating because they're being innovative and trying new tactics to get better =)

Anyways, that was just my 2 cents =D

Edit: I also just wanted to add, you didn't specify what type of game it was, 1v1 2v2 3v3 etc but esp in 1v1, it's far more in your interest to play against a better player than for them to play against you. When a better player plays against you they're effectively noob stomping and since you don't do the same amount of things as someone at their level they let down their guard and can develop bad habits really easily which will screw them over in the long run when they play against people at their level. On the other hand, every time you play against a better player, they will wreck you yes, but it also means they will be point out all the flaws in you builds and tactics which should help you improve more than just watching a replay against someone at your level because higher rated people make less mistakes I suppose. Anyways, just wanted to say look on the bright side! =D

Wish any of that were true. Today I met at least 3 smurfs and they all played as 1000s or better.

I promise you, they weren't smurfs. Perhaps you're just bad and they played well...

I played good for my level. But I am telling you, no noob would get aurora spam up and fighting by 10th minute.

It's pretty frustrating to balance a game and find out that some of the players are way more skilled than their rating implies. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had games ruined by this. Obviously someone could mask their IP but at the very least this would filter out all but the most dedicated smurfs.
