afaik its not possible, and i've tried a lot. however its possible to draw additional icons over the top, like i do in my mod. this thread has inspired me to add symbols for hold fire and surfaced (for subs) and submerged (for non-subs)

what? is it really that bad? That's horrendous if so

same issues with surface/dive, except its a little easier to tell if a ship is surfaced.

and for cybran t1maa i agree that there isn't much point in having a toggle like it is right now, if it was fixed it would be usable, but just having it use both and prioritize air is not a bad idea imo. (not like its ground damage is that good)

im tempted to say the same for cruiser but its groundfire is pretty good vs shields

in any case, fixing the strategic icons and toggle behavior is what matters here

yea and then you have dead cruiser

Not if it is for example cruiser vs cruiser. By moving close, a cybran cruiser in ground mode does considerably more damage.

the cybran cruiser toggle pic is fine imo, but i agree for snipers

i have a tiny suggestion about 'fire switching' weapons. More precisely i'm talking about:

Seraphim sniper bots
Cybran T1 mobile AA
Cybran T2 cruiser

the fire switching button isn't clear at all and you have to guess which firing stance you have and it would be really good if we could make it more transparent. Another solution for Cybran cruiser and T1 AA would be to completely remove this button and just let it prioritise air units.
