it sounds cool but doesnt that make radar sweeps a little too effective? you wouldt have to watch for an acu to stray just into vision range anymore or those nuke launchers you just managed to kinda overlook

Stationary units would seem most fitting is what I get out of it..

Otherwise it seems like the "ping" would be small and camera would be debatable..

Would be cool if there would be an option to give a scout a special status so it reports contact with enemy for example or searches the map for a certain type of unit (and signals when it finds it). Also an option to make mobile units last known location visible would be cool.
