and to give you a hint what is working now:
with the included FAF mod that is the standard play, you can drag your units back and forth in the production line.
look to the right of your screen. you will see a wrench icon. look into it and find out how it works. it does some automated SCU upgrades.
also, there is the ability to place some kind of an upgrade marker. maybe if you send your SACU there, he upgrades by himself?!

AND when you begin playing and you miss the overcharge command, build one engery storage..
AND the ACU explosion is not very destructive anymore. so do not expect to kill the enemy ACU when you go BOOM.
he has to be way under 40% (i am guessing here..) and buildings do not tak emuch damage.

and now have fun :-)

GAZUI allows you to upgrade multiple at once. GAZUI has been implemented into FAF for a while, that is why you don't notice. Notify allows queueing up upgrades, but even better is automatically upgrading SACUs when they leave the gateway and reach a certain location. To do that you can use the upgrade marker from GAZUI's SACU-Manager (it is implemented, no download needed). You first need to bind a hotkey to it using F1. When you have a SACU you can select upgrades in top right corner menu under the score panel and then place a marker next to the idle SACU and it will start upgrading. All SACUs that are unupgraded and idle near the marker will queue up the same upgrades..

Thanks for that explanation. I'll have to try it out.

If you're looking to queue multiple upgrades, the Notify V2 and higher should provide that for you. I actually just released Notify V3.3 today which makes some really good enhancements I think to the queueing behavior seen in prior versions of the mod. You can check it out here viewtopic.php?f=41&t=9556

The upgrade beacon you mean? Never got it to work on my part.
Thanks absence of documentation

I assume you're referring to the first part of my post. I'm talking about literally selecting a group of SCUs, clicking the enhancement tab and clicking an upgrade. I don't know what the upgrade beacon is.

The Gaz UI already lets you select a bunch of scus and start the same upgrade on all of them at once. Im not sure what additional functionality you were wanting Falkyron?

He wanted a way to either:
A: Queue upgrades
B: Build a set of upgrades (like the SCU presets only you can do it with SCUs instead of the Quantum Gate)

Both would be nice to finally get over the "adjacency but not adjacency for Quantum Gate because MUH CHEAP RAS" thing

i think Gaz UI thingy does that in the SCU manager part,

BUT in DMS ?(my mod) you can grab a bunch of units by type (SUBCOMMANDER) and apply some code to all units...

to actually grab all them units is not hard without DMS, ui code is not difficulult, but with DMS global enhancements you could very easly add any enhancement to all the selected units with just one function call. i added sim code to init an enhancement on any unit or group of units with just one function call. :/ the code actually builds the enhancement
provided the unit has pre req enh (if any) it doesnt just give the enh.

try modding one yourself? ill help where i can as im sure others will also.

give it a go?

Has anybody encountered what they're talking about? I'd prefer one that didn't tamper with the balance of the game too much, if possible.
