-Added radar to air units. Radar for air units extends outwards from the front of the aircraft in a 45 degree cone rather than just being a sphere emanating from the center of the unit. Now as such, the range is doubled to compensate for the lack of 360 degree coverage. This allows the aircraft to see quite a bit farther ahead but leave the other arcs vulnerable. (90, 180, 270 arcs)

-Made improvements to Sonar (all units)

-Radar for non aircraft is not yet completed and thus will not work. (Not radar period)

-Range rings no longer function. Will sort this out at some later date as I' need to make a custom script to add rings to non-unit entities.

For kicks i was even able to add a mesh to each of the Intel entities.

Problem with this is that almost no one reads the mods section so anything I post here will go all but unnoticed. Besides this isn't so much a mod as it is a WIP and having a few folks play test is critical to getting the feedback needed to locate / resolve issues.

It looks nice. I think while playing it would ask a lot of attention, since the sonar blips only appear when the ring passes the ship, so with a t3 sonar, ships are only visible for a short amount of time.

I did not test if, when a ship is caught moving, the movement does show or not.
In the replay, for some reason the Salem does not have a sonar ring while the frigates have.


Well the idea is the change game play in a way that the regular tactics the pros use no long apply. Now as for the Salem, that got resolved with version 0.3. However I've a crash bug to resolve before its stable enough to proceed with implementing the same changes for radar.
