Firstly, it removes the ability to hover and bomb with the 'BOMBER' class aircraft
Second, it improves control features of the bomber, per Resin's insight
Thirdly, it adds improved hit-boxes, added attack rings and a few other nick-knacks that, overall improves the performance of using the bomber.

I want to thank all those who tested and gave feedback on the mod. And a special thanks to faf's leading coder Resin_Smoker, who without him this mod could not have been completed.

I encourage everyone to give this mod a thorough test, and see what you think.

*Begin Commercial*
Take the new and improved bomber out for a spin and push its smooth flight controls to the limit! Its new attack indicating rings allow for more precise turning and hovering, while at the same time properly displaying what are candidates for attack. ALSO, featuring the new 'Janus 2.0'. Unlike its antique predecessor, the 'Janus 2.0' does exactly what you would expect from a bomber. All our bombers run on the 'Resin Intelligence System' or RIS, which enable them to glide through the air and turn on a dime. With stop and go reactions that would put an MA12 Striker to shame. Come get yours! Now, in the 'Mod vault'.

HAHAHAAAA YES! this is Awesome. I love just flying the plane around and making it "Drift" through the air. I have total control over where the aircraft flies. So long as I give the bomber a target roughly in front of it and outside of the attack ring, it has no problem dropping its bombs. Anything too far off to the side or inside the attack ring will not drop, as desired. For micro users like myself, let the bomber drop its bomb then pass over head, leave its target outside of the attack ring and turn that puppy around with some rapid move actions then ATTACK

I can't see this mod not being loved.

The attack rings are also amazing. Why this isn't already in the main game is beyond me. Makes micro much easier in of its self

Glad you liked it so much!

Made it all but impossible to hover bomb now.
    Bombers show range rings.
    Added the Janus fix.
Tweaked a few Hit-boxes so they fit the units models.

Hey all, sorry for the short hiatus. Alot going on in RL.

How is Germany Resin? Hope its been exciting. I always wanted to take a trip out of the Country for a few months. Japan always interested me.

But, about the mod. Any update released that I missed? I know there was talk of a v5 that I may have not had a chance to test. So far I'm loving the mod.

Should be able to finish off v0.5 once I reach stateside.

@ T3 Mobile AA

I really don't see the issue with it. It's for T3 armies or late game Setons where you have shit tons of ASF flying around or you're getting hamstrung by strats and T3 gunships poking your army. On retrospect, if your enemy has air superiority at T1, do you build static T1 AA or throw out Archers and Thistles? And still a concern, Nomads have a T3 Mobile AA (and a T1 Gunship), so NOT having T3 Mobile AA for the other four races is going to be the new problem if or when they get integrated to the base game.

Going back to the topic at hand, I'm going to put forth my solution again. You seemed to ignore it completely in the haste to rat about new units.

Solution: Decrease the acceleration of T1 Bombers.
You can have greater reward by hovering and popping more units. But you have higher risk because the AA can apply more damage before you can react/get bomber out.

New units is not a thing.
We have a working solution.
Resin may have a MORE working solution :p

So I guess you don't play FAF because it has T2/T3 HQ and Support Factories? They're not from the vanilla FA game. As would T1 gunships from other factions.

Another solution could be a simple reduction to the acceleration of the bomber. Not acceleration as in slowing down, acceleration as in speeding up (for all those lawyers who'd argue acceleration is any change in direction and or velocity).

Take a look ingame. Seriously, double bombing a target, or using slow-flight to bomb multiple targets a short way apart, feels right. Hovering over the same power grid and hitting it 3 times, straight vertically, feels abusive.

Second, Double is possible (YIPPEE!) and triple is not (Double YIPPEE!) (Reactivation time = 5),

I don't see the logic in that. Shouldn't we explore getting rid of all unintuitiveness, meaning any kind of multi drop behavior?
