Because GPG explicitly stated on the forums that they wouldn't allow FA content modded to Supcom 2.

Technically ofc it'd be the easiest choice if you want to port the game to another engine.

Was looking for game engine the last days and find out that some of the best one are available but not for commercial purpose.
I though then why not porting FA of one of those so that we can beneficiate of the last improvement in term of physics, texture, graphics, sound ....

It could be a very interesting project if we all made our own FA !!!!!!

P.S: The cry engine use also lua as standard scripting ....
