i think Zep means that you can launch FAF FA without dvd...
LAST OFFICIAL PACH IS 3599 and yes you need no cd/dvd to launch it

So i really recommend you to install 3599, it should make no harm.
And do not use cracks or exe-file replacement (or if you do, backup original 3596exe in case you will need to install paches later)

Edit: 3596 replays can't be wached on 3599 without special programs
(scfareplay files)
All FAF replays should be wachable on faf(or not wachable only if they are already broken) faf replays -fafreplay-files

I show 1.5.3596 when i launch FA with the DVD in the drive. So that appears I already have a newer version and it still requires the DVD in the drive.

Official patch 3536 remove the cdkey. It's included with FAF.

Do you guys use any no "cd key hacks" ? I was curious if there are some safe ones, I don't want to get a virus. I just bought retail copy of FA and it's making me keep the cd in unless I start game with FAF lobby.
