You need to place the folder into your My Documents\Games folder. The final path of the mod should be as follows:
C:\Users\Your User Name\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Mods\AllFactions

Inside the AllFactions folder there should be hook folder, a v0001 folder (maybe), and a file mod_info.lua. If you see another AllFactions folder, just move all the file contents up one level.

Make sure the mod is enabled in the mod manager and set pre-built to on.

I tried dumping the folder called 'All Factions' into C:\Program Files (x86)\Forged Alliance forever, and then just running FAF and starting a game with pre-built set to 'on' but it still just spawned with 1 ACU and not 3.

All Factions

Set pre-built option to on and you will spawn with the ACU from each faction. The faction you selected in your game lobby will be the main ACU (for assassination type of games).

I am looking for the mod that allows you to play all factions on every map (not just the one or two custom maps that have that built in). Thanks in advance for any info.

what do you mean exactly?
do you want to play the nomads - a fifth race?
or do you want to be able to build buildings and units from all factions?

I am just starting to play with some friends who said at one time there was a mod that let you play all factions - one of them has it on their computer but we can't seem to find it anywhere so I can download it. Does anyone know where a link to this mod is (I can find it for SupCom 2 but not this game).
