Does it ignore all that Desync crap? Does it turn those notices off? Because I can't stand that stuff when watching stuff.

Desync crap means that your replay doesn't have all the correct sequences of commands which means usually what happens in a replay is different than the actual played game. So a desynced replay is not really worth watching since it isn't what exactly happened.

It looks like you don't have permission to access that folder. A few questions:

- Are you running as the Administrator?
- Is that folder restricted in any way?
- What happens if you move the replay to another folder? (eg, "C:\replays\")

I didn't want to force the UAC prompt every time you open a replay (because you usually don't need it unless your replays are in a weird location)... I could fix it by invoking the UAC prompt to get access to the path and retrying, but you'd still need to do so every time you open a replay in that restricted location.

How is this tool related to a replay manager?

Could they be integrated into one? What does Ze_Pilot have in mind there... and could I help? (I chatted with FunkOff today, and I'd be interested to help out with the implementation of said replay manager - shouldn't be so hard).

Currently, it's not related at all to a replay manager; it's just for making it easier to watch replays from different places in the meantime.

I've started work on a replay manager which is roughly based off of this one: http://forums.gaspowered.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=24738 It will use FARS for the actual launching of replays (so those two pieces of functionality are compartmentalized), and will primarily be a way of searching through your replays and seeing extra information about them.

Also planned is Windows Explorer shell integration, so you can right click on a .scfareplay and open it in the replay manager / add it to a collection / etc.

It's in C# / .NET, built off of Windows Forms - if you're willing to help, the more the merrier. :) Like you said, it's not difficult work, just time consuming.

I had to go through the "open with" setup of windows to get it done correctly.

It's not a big problem but it's annoying, especially if the setup is supposed to do it for you.

Otherwise, the program is working perfectly! :)
