So in essence I want this faction to function very similarly to the vanilla factions with a few changes and subsequently I would like to know if the below is possible.

1. Custom ACU model
2. The addition of a third Resource: Water (I was hoping I could modify the Energy code and simply restrict the building to only being built on sea)
3. Renaming the existing resources and changing their icons: Mass to Metal, Energy to Hydrocarbons (the logic is that this would retain map compatibility by using existing Hydro markers and Mass markers)
4. Fuel requirements for all units not just air (except ACU stand in) and subsequently refuel stations like the air staging facility, and have the facilities drain water and Hydrocarbons when a unit visits
5. Modifying trees to grant hydrocarbons instead of mass when reclaimed
6. Make units inside of factories instead of in front (I have a work around if this is not possible (giant shrinking Steam cloud))
7. Require a unique unit to initiate a building upgrade instead of it being autonomous. (if this is not possible I assume I could make the building have an insane completion time requiring an Engineer to intervene)

In essence I would like to know if the above is possible and in the short term I assume I could just "Hijack" an existing faction instead of reworking the lobby screen. Although in the future a custom lobby would be ideal.
