So im using borderless gaming 8.4 in admin mode with parameters set to 0,0,3840,1920 to get it to stretch across both screens. but i'm getting an error code

Program : C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe
Cmd line arguments :

Callstack:
Unknown symbol (address 0x008cef50)

Last 100 lines of log...

warning: Running "C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\SupComDataPath.lua" failed: cannot read init_faf.lua: No such file or directory
stack traceback:
[C]: in function `dofile'
C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\SupComDataPath.lua(2): in main chunk

Here's the video of my issue if that helps
https://youtu.be/9Eb5g5GgwQs

So i found it rather weird. Thought maybe you guys could help.

0,0,3840,1920

Is this correct? Shouldn't it be 0,0,3840,1080?

You could also try the .exe I made if your FAF is installed in the default location. Just copy this anywhere on your computer and use it to start FAF. It will extract the autohotkey script and run it automatically when you do so and also stop it automatically when you close FAF.

but i guess this doesn't help you since i'm only on 1 monitor.

so i guess this won't help either because the guy only use 1 screen of his 2 for fa : viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9778

and that won't solve your issue but i post that there for a better gaming experience on 2 screens : viewtopic.php?f=41&t=9776

i will ask some guy around to see if they know how to solve your issue.

I too am using BG 8.4 (check out the youtube vid i linked) ;)

Looks like init_faf.lua is missing, doesn't seem connected to the borderless configuration but rather that the init_faf.lua isn't downloaded correctly (you should find this file in C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin). But you're saying it works fine without?

ya everything works correctly with just one monitor (with or without the borderless). I play the game everyday, so I'm just trying to figure this out.
