I guess he can just wait for the CPU indicator to change, and we'll see ONLY at that point if it's his CPU or the Indicator itself.

Good-day.

TechMonkey TheChosen1 we're planning on replacing the ingame CPU benchmark with something more reliable

As above Sheeo stated in chat that the ratings "were" buggy and somewhat unreliable, however they are working on a fix

Thanks for all your help all.

And regarding background apps OP said:

I have nothing else running other than teamspeak, no AV running when game is on, I have 8Gb of RAM and an SSD

So I'm pretty sure that's not it either.

Seems OP is right and something is off with the benchmark tool.

What do you want? It's an i5 2800K is what Computer properties says and the other is it's derivative.

What name do you want?

Names like that. But i5 2800k does not exist. i5 2500k should get 235 or lower in lobby, depending on other system variables and background load.

Which log file?

forever.log is 1KB
replay.log is 94kB
uid.log is 1KB

Ok, you don't. With some installs I have seen there gets a huge logfile created, making the whole thing very slow.

When you feel confident that your system is performing well and not throttling under load - remember open cpu-z and monitor clocks like I said - then something is off with the FAF benchmark in your specific case. How to solve that is a question for tech support here.

What are the temperatures when running a heavy sttresstest like OCCT or Linpack? Use realtemp to monitor. All free programs.

Run SuperPi 1m and 32m and report the times here. That should answer the question if your cpu is actually getting bad performance.

EDIT: also run cpu-z and watch if the core clock is actually at 3.6Ghz

16k = 0.145s
128k = 1.208s
1M = 12.424s
