T1 air is really really relentless.... the jester (when use wisely) can put a lot shit in the planning to other player...
T3 bomber dont really have good punch vs shield but you can use the stealth ablitliy and the large radius to target soft spot.
If you can win air with the cybran you got a large area of gunship to rainning hell on the battle field:T1 to T4
mantis can assist building when needed
mobile t2 stealh can be use with creativity can be useful.
T2 navy...... how to not fall in love with it.....
shield... cheap but weak (ep1) you have to upgrade it to ep3 to begin to match the other t2 shield.
tml and mml are great. destroy the cruise missile and you got 3 more to destroy but they are weaker can overload tmd (exept aeon)
t3 mobile arty: the trebuchet.... seeing those unit pound the battlefield is almost romantic. The accuracy is simply shit but the blast of radius!!!
monkey lord is a good early exp unit
The hive can put on steroid manufacture of war...
Telesnipe ( teleport with the laser) can blow away a deatly faith...
For UEF
most unit are simply average exept the percy (he can make some exp look bad...)
the better way (what i find) to play this faction his to have defence line, siege and a counter strike logic to exploit the battlefield. This is my style to playing the uef faction... Here a hint what i mean. I am in the front line so i build a strong point (shield, few pd, aa, tmd and some unit) the 2 others player go to a defence logic (shield and other stuff) . I go to t3 make 3 ravagers and pop up the def line. When the line his broken i fallow with my ground unit and engy. I reclaim their ruin base and build another fire base.... so i wash, i rince and i repeat.
