I've been trying to modify the Unit Manager for some time now. I'm using Sorian's AI and the Lobby Enhancement Mod, but not FAF. I finally got new unit restrictions that I wrote to work, but I can't figure out where the description goes, nor will the names of the built-in ones change.

Has anyone had any success modifying the Unit Manager? I'm not concerned about compatibility with others, I don't play online. I've been modifying the gamedata/lua/ua/lobby/restrictedUnitsData.lua file. The tooltips are in gamedata/lua/ui/help/tooltips.lua, but my changes aren't showing up.

Don't I have to be online for that? I'm just looking for the mod that lists all the units and I can select which ones I want to allow when I play skirmish vs the computer. It exists, does anybody have that mod?

I guess I'm bumping this, does anybody know of a mod that just has a list of all the units and you can manually restrict which ones you want to allow in the game?

Is there a mod that lets you restrict certain units? Like lets you select what units can be built? For example if I wanted to allow experimental units but not allow the long rang artillery? Or just select what units can and cannot be built. Something like that?
