programdata is a hidden folder!

set "show hidden files/folders" in the explorer options!

is there an update on how i can do this i cant find the .exe file :/ ... i have win7 x64
i have found C:\Program Files (x86)\Forged Alliance Forever but no .exe file to launch

thanks i have just been playing against AI online but if my internet brakes thanks to BT :/ then i'll know what to do

When you first load up the FAF client it should do all the patching for you. I'm not sure that it's possible to play offline with the FAF balance, but you could always start a password-protected game and play vs AI online.

i hope to actually get to be good at this game even if it isn't something i play everyday
one thing i think i missed was patching the actual game
and getting all the mods to start with so i can maybe play them offline ?
i am especially interested in the AI update/mods and any new units

Yes you get the latest version of the lobby every time you log in. If theres a new version it automatically opens the install wizard for it.

As far as modding is concerned the mods people play (the featured mods) are on auto-update when you enter a game with them enabled.

beyond me but then its not something you'd be able to play with online anyway unless you got everyone else to get the mods.

FAF has no way to verify copies of the game, so it doesn't. All you need to play is the game files and FAF downloaded and installed .

Hi i am not new to playing sup com and fa ... it have been my favourite RTS since i first played it. but i have only just found this awesome site ... my question or questions to you is this what do i do to get all of this cool stuff. i read about the lobby client updating you automatically ? ... so do i only have to download that or are there other things ? ... i have to admit i have never really modded anything other than minecraft and that was only after watching a load of YouTube vids. i tried adding more units once but it never even showed up in-game anywhere. i would just like some clarification even if it is links to other threads, i don't mind reading
I have the game on steam, and i have the gold edition pack does that make a difference ?

the last thing is that i recently got my dad to install off my discs to try it and he likes it so what should i do when his copy arrives if anything ?

i hope i have remembered everything :s
