Supcom only works without crashes if I disable my soundcard. Set the sound card to stereo did not change that.

I also bought a external soundcard from creative that only allows stereo but the game crashed after some time. Also when I close the game, it crashes with internal and external sound card.

But as I said: no crashes at all with disabled soundcards.

What to do? In some forum posts its said that the installation path could be the reason? But why then the sound issues?
I tried standard and other installation path but I only have one SDD so I can not switch the disc.

Please help.
