i've been testing that around :
- posting a comment, make your faf logo go "yellow" and then it goes back to normal (look at top left faf icon)
- when you like a mod, the faf logo become red "offline". You can't host anymore, but you are still able to chat on aeolus.

when you refaf, mod that has been liked, aren't anymore; and comments disappear.

test has been done on beta version of faf version 0.12.0-pre2

Thank you kindly for the answer. I was wondering if it might be something like that.

I'm seeing placeholder images though for quite a few mods. I'm guessing then this is down to the mod developers, correct?

Any thoughts though on inability to comment/like mods?

Edit: Looks like the icon support is only working in FAF beta for me, based on a quick test. I had a hunch this might not have made it to live yet.

Edit 2: On further look, it's nothing to do with Beta at all. It's down to a mod called "T2 T3 Storage FAF V8". For some reason using this breaks the icons on other mods.

FAF has integrated icon support so should not need it.

Some Issues With The Mod Vault + Global Icon Support

Hi all,

I've having some small issues with the items in the mod vault, specifically relating to:
• Being unable to comment or like mods (as though I appear to be doing both, exiting and going back into the mod ignores my comments and my likes)
• Being unable to find the latest version of the global icon support mod anywhere in the vault

I tried downloading the BlackOps global icon support mod v5 from elsewhere, but it doesn't seem to be compatible with the latest FAF version since the UI went all messed up when I tested it today.

I'm still fairly new to FAF, but have a good working knowledge of mods and how to install / manipulate them, so if someone can tell me what the current situation is with global icon support and where I can get a working version so I stop seeing the placeholder image, I'd be most thankful.
