I think this is exactly why his second kickstarter is floundering at best.... only the people living on the Nile are funding it, and there are zero big backers like there were the first time.

Already felt burnt by PA, a lot of my friends feel the same way.

I'm also seriously put off by Mavor's wealth brag-off, ferraris and other expensive luxury cars. IMO this reflects poorly on his character in general, but now especially since he's asking the community to pre-fund his next game.

1. PA was clearly released as a non-finished product. even kickstarter promises (like an offline server and 40+ player matches at RELEASE) have been broken.

2. the entire process of building PA has shown me one thing: uber is a company, which over-promises and under-delivers. such a company will not be successful anymore in any kickstarter.

3. i noticed some "improvements" in the HR trailer: flat maps (not spherical anymore), and 2 (more than just one) completely different factions. maybe they have learned from their "mistakes" of the past?

4. except some miracle happens (= a drastic increase of mods making PA a much more diverse game) i look at PA like i look at supcom2: a dumbed-down version of supcom:fa, which becomes boring to play really fast.

well of corse that is your opinion but I will defend Uber because of only one thing that you said:

well they PA survived from KS, to pre-alpha and they have a "finished product", "finished" because its like minecraft, its getting always new content(they didn't put things like thermo or Unit Cannon)

and I agree w/ you, if the company is not responsible, like what TotalBiscuit said: some companies are unresponsible and will get all your money from alpha/Beta periods and will not give you the final product, but Uber is very responsible (and you can get more money if you follow the minecraft way of business!)

P.S. I am happy w/ this final product!
