The ban isn't 4 week, it is until you rename. Unfortunately you can only rename once a month but that is the risk you took by changing your name in the first place.

If you wish to appeal a ban in the future or require more information please send a private message to the IRC moderator usergroup.

EDIT: I spoke with Gorton and other mods before. They didnt ban me for my previous name.
