And this is in the tournaments thread.. why?

Sheeo accidentally merged the tourney and tech support forum once and there was too much for the mods to move back.

You can usually change the output mode to stereo if you go to Control Panel - Sound - Playback devices. Right click on the headset and select Configure. Set the number of speakers to 2 and finish the wizard.

Should resolve the problem. It dropped my game.log filesize from 160mb each game to like.. kilobytes.

The given solution to this problem would be to just go into my settings and force my headset to use stereo... but I can't. There isn't an option to. In the control panel I only have the option to select 7.1, and turning off the surround sound setting on the headphones themselves doesn't actually change the channels requested from the game.

My tentative solution to this problem is to simply uninstall the drivers which in turn forces me to use my headset in stereo. This isn't a very great solution for me to use so I came here to ask if there is a better solution that is more reasonable like using /nosound, which I couldn't figure out how to do in multiplayer FAF.

I'll add my logs here but from what I saw they are no different than what others get. I've tried turning all my mods on and off and it did nothing. It's also worth noting that this error only happens about 75% of the time, but a 25% success rate is obviously unreasonable when playing multiplayer.
