dont buy a HDD in the next 2-3 months, still really expensive due to the flood in Thailand.

Rather use an old one or SSDs right now.

Besides, go for 8 gb memory, it's very cheap nowadays. A SSD will certainly be good to reduce load times as Spindrah said, on the other hand it will raise the bill a little more significantly.

Spend 15% more on the 2500k(Not 2500, 2500K !!!) it is unlocked. also get a Z68 mobo like the asus p8z68.

Get at least 1600 RAM not 1333, there is not much more performance over 1600 for intel cpu's but there is more going to 1600 from 1333.

One more thing to look into If you get the z68 MB you can use a small SSD as a cache for the HDD, You will get Extreme load times on the programs you use most(And windows)

Well Guys.

I went to a shop and some guy tried to push this up my nose.

Case: Coolermaster.
Power Supply: 550 Watt
CPU: Intel i5 socket 1155 2400
Cooler: Intel Org Cooler.
Motherboard: Asus p8h67-M, S115, 4xDDR3, mATX
Memory: Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHZ
Video Card: ASUS GTX 460 1GB DDR5
Hard Drive: WD 1TB SATA II Green

And an expensive burning drive and windows 7 64 bits

For 775€.

I have no idea what that Intel 5 is, but I know that FA works better on multi cores. Is this good enough GHZ?
Do I really need a cooler?
A good motherboard is never a wrong choice.
I think the memory is alright.
Why not have the fancy videocard?
And I doubt I'll need a terrabyte, I watch my porn online.

Any comments?

Intel definately have the best CPU's at the moment, AMD have the cheapest. As mentioned the best performance for this game is not the number of cores, rather GHZ. IMO on a limited budget a 2500k ( which is a 2600k without hyperthreading ), a decent ati card ( cheaper than nvidia ) like 6950 ( which can be modded to 6970 which is as fast as a gtx580 at 60% of the price ), good air cooling should get you to about 4.8 ghz ( depending on a little luck with your cpu). This would be a great gaming rig for anything on a single monitor setup. For multi monitors, just get another 6950. With ram its been shown that speeds over 1333 have little increase in real world applications/games. PSU, make sure you get a brand name as the generic psu's can fail taking computer components with them.

limitations or epic lack of optimization, but yeah. That's why let's not give the hope to PeTeTe that a comp today can run the game "fine" whole game long.

I "dream" of that CPU that won't ever go into negative sim speed no matter what

Any modern computer will run FA fine. You will experience the most problems when using multiple AI though. Just get the best hardware you can afford and you should be fine for a few years on whatever games you want to play.

well at some point all computers will start lagging, cause the engine itself is limited.

fairly late to buy a pc that runs FA this game is 5 years old!

You wont need 800 € for running FA top

high GHz is the most important thing

I only know how to play games, I can't distinguish a computer part from women cosmetics.
