Infinite splash screen

I updated the game client today, but when I try to run it, all I get is the splash screen that says "Downlord's FAF Client v1.1.9". It never goes away unless I kill it in the Task Manager, nor does the client load properly. I tried to look for this issue but couldn't find anything on the FAQ or other recent bug reports. When I look at the error log in the installation directory, I saw this:
