if you only desynch in phantom games, go to C:\ProgramData\FAForever\gamedata (programdata is a hidden folder) and delete phantomx.phx, then host a phantom game and the mod will be downloaded again

also, maybe a UI mod is messing with the phantom mod (each trying to hook a certain file), can you tell which UI mods you use?

But only on phantom-x games these days. I don't know what the reason is, but the host after the desync told me to clear the cache and restart FAF. I did so, but I didn't end up joining the game again to test and see if it helps. Would clearing the cache have any effect on this, or could this possibly be due to me having installed a different version of phantom-x at some point in the past? I'm hoping to try and avoid completely uninstalling everything in order to try and fix this.
