you have some cancer bloatware installed on your PC that messes with your input
or you use some mod that messes with the keybindings

Hi Uveso,

Thanks for the suggestion but I went in and checked Ctrl-1 to 5 and they all say the correct set-group so this is not the problem.

Any more ideas?

Open your game prefs file:

Code:: C:\Users\_YOURNAME_\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Game.prefs

seach for the keyword

Code:: Ctrl-6

you will find a key inside the UserKeyMap table that looks like this:

Code:: ['Ctrl-6'] = 'set_group6',

now search for the keyword

Code:: Ctrl-1

It should look like this: (If not, change it)

Code:: ['Ctrl-1'] = 'set_group1',

do the same with Ctrl-2 to Ctrl-5

Hi,

So I have used the same keyboard with FA & FAF and not had this problem before.

When I am in game the Ctrl+1 to 5 keys are not working correctly, they seem to be doing other things than creating groups. When I go to key bindings and the group 1 key binding and type Ctrl+1 it actually enters Ctrl+V! But the Ctrl+6 to 0 works fine for grouping units.

Now it did have my keyboard language as CS but have changed this to US and in the FAF client, my Windows language is UK so not sure if this has something to do with it.

So I am limited to only being able to use 5 unit groups and it is getting really annoying, please help!
