game can use tons of cores, but simulation thread that deteminates speed at witch game can run can only run on one thread (core)

There are so many new and old CPUs and many many different architectures, you can't tell performance by looking just at frequency

1. Just because your FX has a high clock, doesn't mean its fast. In fact, the IPC of these FX CPUs is very bad, and i would not be suprised if they really suck at Supcom. Instead, they are good at opposite workloads (parrallel number crunching).
2. Date of release is irrelevant.
3. Ping is absolutely irrevelant as long as it stays under 500ms. Higher pings are shown in the lobby. Even if you have packet loss, as slong as the packet is re-sent and arrvies within 500ms, it doesn't slow down the game.
4. Yes, a more accurate CPU test would be nice, but implementing that is not trivial i think.

Ofc, some of the players have better CPU, does it make sense for the game? My CPU even 0,9 MHz higher then recommended.
CPU rating looks like d*ck measuring thing and nothing else. Ping is much more important but the lobby doesn't show it till it's late.

Oh, WOW, some1 did a new game engine? WOW! When i did install the FAF it's size 130 mb looks like NOTHING but the GAME MODE with lobby system based on java. And, how many cores? 8? 36? 100000000? Who are u? Programmer? Nope. U think there is multi-core support? NO. Learn some official info or get rect. I need no "last top pc" to play old shit, ty. Just like idiot CPU rating that means nothing and useless tips. Next!

It tries to tell you that your CPU is not the best for this game. And the calculates its limits quite well looking at your cpu specs. Just because it was released later than the game, doesn't make it good today.

Just FYI the game uses more than 1 core.

Hello, my dear developers of the best ever game mode. I mean some of you even best programmers ever.

I have the FX 8150 as my CPU, it's core speed is 3,9 MHz, It's max core speed is 4,2 MHz, and It's release date is 12.10.2011 and it's still do good job even for NOW. And saying this i mean not just shitty games. Supreme Commander FA release date is 6. 11. 2007. As you can see, THE CPU is not only ONE OF THE TOP at the time of release, but also came out later even than the LAST GAME OFFICIAL RELEASE. And there is NO OPTIMIZING PATCHES! But ur smart system tells me, that im too low to play ur MODE.

And, there is some asshole players who resume to lobby/play with "low CPU".

The question is: how does your crappy shit rate my cpu for 311 out of 450? What exactly does it mean?!
Playing the Mario is much better on i7 vs Pentium 4 you mean?
Should i have an few xeon-based server stations to play ur MODE? Even if THE OLD GAME use just 1 core? HUH?

p.s. go to school and learn some "new things" or die if it's too late, cause there is a lot of idiots around just without you.
