My AI mod has the lates AI gamepatches included and has an option for endless test games.

Enable endless games inside the gameoptions and start an AI vs AI game.
The game will start, increase the simspeed to +10 and on gameend it will restart the game.
This way you can easily test for deadloops.

Please always test the game with no mod enabled. (Also no UI mod)
Only exeption my AI mod for debugging.

This error happens if a function in SIM-state is deadlooping.

Are you sure you don't have any SIM mods active ?

As long as this version does not go public.

To your question;
This is really a opinion if you need it or not.
I like the extra information in multiplayer games and also in AI games.
It's also a perfect tool to watch the eco in replays
But i never use it when i play alone.

you could first answer my question before you ask me to answer your question.

So regarding to the mod Nuclear repulsor shields:

Who made this modification and removed my name from the copyright string and changed the version number ?

TheFearFullSeraphim had strongly modified versions of my mods Nuclear Repulsor Shields and Quantum Resource Generators. So they where not in their original state.
Also some AI functions where modified (adding custom unit folder AND AI scripts can't really work)

I am testing my mods amost every day while i am programming on my new ingame AI.
So all mods you can find on my presentation post are up to date and working with the actual game version AND the development version of the game.
So even after a game patch my mods will work without any update.
http://forums.faforever.com/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=12416

This does not mean that my mods can't crash at any circumstances.
But at least for the last 2 year they don't crash. (or no one reported it)

Greetings, Uveso.

I do use a lot of mods back and forth and have seen many that do not work as they crash my game and so forth but I have always able to start the game without issue. Only late in the game does it seem to crash and I have the nuclear repulser shields AND the quantum as well. Makes me wonder if I have something going on where I need to reinstall them as well.

I am away at the moment on my laptop with a supreme connection with the same problem as I have when I am at home with a different computer, game directory and connection. Seems awfully weird to have the same problem on two separate computers doing the same thing with the same mods.

My guess is that there are two or more mods that are not meshing well. I am going to have to start eliminating small groups to see if I can isolate the at least one side of the problem.

Please disable your mods and see if your game still crash.
