guess someone already reported and fixed this issue (for the next client version)

not entirely sure what causes it - maybe one of the devs has a workaround for you

FAF is broken for me today. Downlord's client keeps hanging saying "Preparing game: Downloading ForgedAlliance.exe".

Only fix appears to be a reboot of the whole PC. Then error occurs again after playing just one game. Some games launch, some are failing...

there were some issues with the new exe that was pushed together with patch 3705 which only occur in bigger team games which is why nobody noticed before we went live

geo changed something on the server so users get the old exe file and so far we aren't getting spammed with bug reports so i assume things work for now

we'll have to do some more testing with the patched exe and hopefully it can be fixed since the bugfix it should provide (less desyncs in replays) would be nice to have
