solve this problem by deleting everithing from faforever folder, then client redownloaded everithing back in it, now all ok

something is blocking the client from writing stuff where it needs to - can be caused by some Antivirus/Windows Defender/Users messing with their folder permissions (eg by running stuff with admin rights)

got the same problem, but after deleting antivirus nothing changed
also reinstalled client and game itself

any ideas?

YESSSSSS! I Blocked my AVAST completly and it worked. After restart of Avast the .exe was blocked again and deleted...
I think with some exceptions in the setting it should work now.

I have the same problem since yesterday. I tried different updates on my system and reinstallion of fafclient, nothing helped.
I also updated java.

I also tried deleting the %programdata%/FAForever/bin directory.

Uh Oh! Error joining games.

Hi, i have a problem with joining or hosting games. everytime i try to join i get a errorscreen and the game won't start. Iceadapter is starting but dont know what i can do with that.
In the picture you can see the errorscreen, he opens by the way everytime 2 errorwindows.
Who can help, cause i cant play right now.
